Andrew's Hedgehog Hospital is a local charity doing fantastic work by protecting and conserving hedgehogs that have been injured, or found in a condition which needs attention. As part of the conservation effort that Andrew's Hedgehog Hospital undertakes, once a year they go to Blenheim Palace (www.blenheimpalace.com) to release the hedgehogs that they have cared for and brought back to good health.
This year they have released over 30 hedgehogs and they were lucky enough to be accompanied by the Duchess of Malborough and her son, Lord Casper, who are patrons of the charity. Joining them was the junior ambassador for the charity, Master Charlie Thompson (@charlie_t2006), who was interviewed with Lord Casper for a TV story to be aired in September on Inside Out, which is part of BBC Look North news programme.
As a local company who like to give something back, we are helping Andrew's Hedgehog Hospital with their marketing this year. The biggest story is the new hospital that is being built in the grounds of Elsham Hall early next year. Keep an eye on the website and Facebook (linked below) for updates. All donations are greatly appreciated as this charity is completely dependent on volunteers and kind-hearted people who want to see our hedgehog population increase rather than decrease in the future.
